The
Hospital has 48 beds including 9 in ICU, 5 in STROKE ICU and
22 airy & comfortable rooms, each with central air washered
system or air-conditioning , central oxygen & central suction,
and running hot and cold water. There is facility of colour
T.V & telephone in each room. The ever smiling staff at
reception are always eager to guide the patients & their
relatives. Nurses and other paramedical staff are thoroughly
professional in their dealings with indoor patients & their
attendants. Café of the Hospital is very conveniently located
and services hygienic snacks. The hospital kitchen supplies
food cooked under strict supervision of a qualified full time
Dietician to the patients & their relatives. A small serai
has been provided within the hospital premises for the
attendants of the patients coming from far of places, and the
hospital laboratory addresses most of the diagnostic needs of
the patients.

was formally inaugurated on May 24,2000 by the then Chief
Minister of
Punjab
in the presence of the health minister, education
minister and other cabinet ministers.
On April
8, 2001, the state of the art IVF center was inaugurated by
none other than the present All India FOGSI President Prof.
Sadhna Desai in the presence of Sr. Vice
President MOGS Prof. Duru Shah from Mumbai. In March
2002, North Zone operative workshop on IVF & Infertility was
organized by Dr. Kumud Pasricha in which 150
Gynecologists from all over the region learnt during her
operative demonstration.
In March 2004 a
workshop was held on Stereotactic Neurosurgery and Radio
frequency for Trigeminal Neuralgia. At this workshop,
Department of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery was
inaugurated by Prof. V.K.Khosla, head of Neurosurgery
department at PGI, Chandigarh in the presence of nationally
eminent Neurosurgeons viz Dr Sushil Patkar(Poona)&Dr.Mohnish
Bhatziwala from Bombay. |
